Penny S. Baumeier, DO, FACOP, FAAP

Dr. Baumeier is a native of Milford, Michigan. She received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Mercy College of Detroit. She worked 5 years as a nurse before entering Medical School at Michigan State University. She completed her internship and residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Baumeier is Board Certified in pediatrics.

Gina South, MD, FAAP

Dr. South grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan with her three younger siblings. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean. She got to spend a year abroad in England before finishing her medical school training in Detroit. Dr. South completed her pediatric residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Most recently, she has been working as a traveling doctor in hospitals across the country.

Kathy Malone LBSW, RN, IBCLC

Kathy is a licensed Social Worker and a Registered Nurse. She became interested in breastfeeding while working as a Mother Baby Nurse at Saint Joseph mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She became a Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 1991, and began her current private practice "Bosom Buddies" in Brighton, MI. She is also employed part time as a lactation consultant at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI and Providence Park Hospital in Novi, MI.

William L. Burnes, LMSW, ACSW, CAADC, Psychotherapist.

William Burnes has been practicing therapy and providing treatment in mental health and substance abuse for more than 30 years.  He provides services to children and adolescents on an individual and family basis.  He served his early years of practice in Michigan as the Disease Prevention/Health Promotion Consultant in the Department of Community Medicine at Wayne State University.  One of his many jobs was to assist all of the federally recognized Indian reservations in acquiring funding for and development of health programs.  Mr. Burnes is currently presenting a workshop “From Boys to Men of Morals- In This Century”.

Jodi Nemeth, Dietitian

Jodi Nemeth is a Registered Dietitian and mother of 4 young children.  She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Dietetics and completed a Dietetic Internship at the University of Michigan Health Systems.   Jodi has had diverse work experiences within her Dietetics career, however, her children have been the source of some of her most valuable experiences. Having grown up in Livingston County, Jodi has returned to the area where she is now raising her own family.   Educating children on the importance of proper nutrition and exercise is her passion.  She is very excited to be able to provide counseling to the members of the community where she grew up.
